The emphasis throughout the training is on ways to improve outcomes for children and young people. The sessions are designed to be informative and interactive. Key learning methods used include participation, group work and discussion.
The training highlights self-help/supportive strategies and resources and pathways for appropriate referrals. We attempt to use a variety of learning approaches and welcome informal and anonymous case discussion to improve and develop the practice of course attendees.
We also have a few slots to offer ‘bespoke’ training sessions to staff groups which are very popular.
