Information about visiting our hospitals
In light of updates to national guidance, visiting is now being allowed but considered on a case-by-case basis following an individual risk assessment to limit the increased risk of transmission of coronavirus.
You can find out more about what this means for you from our information about visiting hospitals and inpatient units.

Frequently asked questions

If you need face-to-face support we may still visit you at your home.
If any member of your household is isolating because they have COVID-19, please inform your health care worker before they visit.
Find out more in our patient and carer information about community services during covid-19 .
Will my planned appointments still go ahead?
Where possible, and appropriate, we will be doing appointments remotely, either by telephone or video-conferencing, so you will still receive the care you need.
Please contact your care team if you have any questions about a specific appointment.
Please do not visit us if you have any COVID-19 symptoms or diarrhoea and/or vomiting that is new and not normal for you. Please rearrange your appointment and do not visit until symptoms have resolved
Can I have visitors if I am an inpatient?
The health, safety and wellbeing of patients, communities and staff continues to remain a priority. As such, the trust is allowing visitors but taking proportionate and justifiable measures designed to limit the increased risk of transmission of coronavirus.
If a physical visit cannot be accommodated, a risk assessment will be carried out to demonstrate that there are clear reasons why it would not be safe to do so.
The ward will make every effort to support contact with family members and loved ones through ready access to telephones (personal mobiles where risks allow or by ward telephones) or Trust video-meeting devices (such as tablets).
Where hand sanitiser is available in our premises, please use this to clean your hands on entry and when leaving .
All visitors should wear a face covering on entry to our premises.
