Following this procedure will help the staff to:
• Ensure that service users/experts by experience, carers and, in some situations, staff give
informed consent for the use of their photographs, written, audio and film and other
person-identifiable information in Trust information and promotional and training materials.
• Ensure that Trust staff follow the correct procedure for both obtaining and
recording informed consent.
