We’re working with Hartlepool United Football Club to share self-help tools, local support and stories about real people from across the town, helping Poolies take the first step to get help with their mental health.
We've teamed up with United For The Community (Hartlepool United's official charity) and people across the town who have real-life experience of mental health challenges. They are all helping to support Poolies Matter and remind you that you are not alone and that support is available. The campaign is backed by Hartlepool United Supporters Trust, The Corner Flag, The North West Corner, Her Game Too, Heart Of Our Club 1908, Hartlepool United Disabled Association, and South East Poolies. They're all sharing our social media and urging their members to support the campaign because they all agree that getting help early is a good thing for any Poolie that needs it.
After a difficult year, life felt overwhelming for Poolies fan Stephen. He became down and couldn’t see a way out. However, reaching out and getting help changed everything. He encourages others to access support before things become too much.
